Asigh™ 'Easy Lift' Blanket Lifter

My husband had a total knee replacement recently and could not tolerate the weight of the bed blanket on his feet. After researching several blanket lifter options, we settled on the Asigh. He was thrilled with its strength and reliability. We don't have to worry about it dropping down unexpectedly and the design makes it secure and strong. The option of lowering it is such a plus for aesthetics, too. We recommend it highly!

I’m sleeping better than I have in years. I bought one for each side of the bed, so my husband and I can still cuddle. I love that it folds out of the way during the day.

We had been looking for a lifter that would allow my husband, who has poor circulation in the lower half of his legs, to sleep on his back without the weight of the sheet or blankets affecting the nerves of his toes.

This was the first fully adjustable lifter that we felt was sturdy enough to not collapse onto his legs. It is the only one that easily lowers to the mattress or flips back to be discreetly hidden when the bed is made up in the morning. With only seconds to switch it back from raised for use to hidden, it has made our lives seem more normal.

I have been looking for a device to help out a friend who occasionally is affected by gout flare ups in his feet. Specifically something that could help him in bed while sleeping. At times, the weight from even a sheet is too much!
I have heard about blanket lifters before. I found several different ones online in all price ranges. It was important to me to find one that was sturdy and impossible for it to collapse while in use. This was the only one I felt confident enough to try.
I loved that when it was not in use it could go down and be completely hidden under the bedspread.
I watched the video and saw how easy it was to assemble and place between the box spring and mattress.
I ordered one and received it within a couple of days.
The only thing I hadn’t considered was that the bed has a power base and a metal bar at the foot of the mattress. I had no idea how I was going to place the base of the lifter with that bar in the way. I called customer service and was transferred to the owner/designer. He was able to talk me through how to simply loosen the knobs and remove the baseplate from the handle. I was able to slide it in from the side of the bed to the middle of the metal bar at the base of the bed and reattach the baseplate to the handle.
No tools were needed and my problem was easily resolved!
I highly recommend this to anyone suffering from gout or arthritis. This device has made sleeping with a very painful condition much more tolerable.
